  Donnybrook Veteran Muster 8/9 November 2025

  ANNOUNCMENT: The Indian Harley Club (Bunbury) Inc and the Veteran and Classic Car Club of WA are jointly hosting the 3rd annual WA Veteran Vehicle Muster over the weekend of 8/9 Novemberr 2025 based in Donnybrook, WA. This event is for road-going Motorcycles, Cars and Other Vehicles manufactured before 1919.

  ENTER via the REGISTER button

  AIM:  This event aims to bring together road-going veteran vehicle enthusiasts for a weekend of social and riding/driving pleasure.

  ROUTE FORMAT:  The riding/driving involves loops out and back to Donnybrook and some optional even shorter cruises.   Route sheets will be provided and corners will also be marshalled.  Both Saturday and Sunday mornings will begin with a 08:45 drivers/riders brief at the Transit Park for a 09:00 start.

  SOCIAL FORMAT:  Saturday evening is the main get-together from 5PM for a Sundowner, then a group outdoor dinner from 6PM with refreshments and story-telling at the Transit Park (Sunset around 6:30 PM).  Historic Vehicle riders or drivers of any club are welcome to join us at the Sundowner.  Non entrants are welcome to stay for the meal as well PLEASE ORDER AND PAY ON THE REGISTRATION PORTAL OR  book with Michael by email michael@vintagesteel.com.au or Ph:  0437 999 009 by the Tuesday before rally start.

  For those planning to get to Donnybrook on Friday before the Saturday rally start, we have warned the Donnybrook Hotel that our group is in town but you will need to book a table Ph: 97311017.    

  ACCOMMODATION:    The Donnybrook Transit Park will be our Rally Headquarters for the weekend.   Site bookings can be made online with the Shire of Donnybrook Balingup.   This is also the site for our Saturday evening meal.  It is only a 600m walk from either the Motel or Hotel.  There are 10 powered concrete van pads and a greater number of grassed sites both with and without power.  There is ample car & trailer parking on a gravel area adjacent to the Camping Park.   Please note ‘Veteran Muster’ in the comments when booking - just search for Donnybrook Transit Park, WA or try this new link www.spacetoco.com/space/donnybrook-transit-park

  Following on from the great successes of our previous Christmas Functions. Peel Branch is proud to again host this very special classic event at the Bistro By The Dam, Kingsbury Drive, Jarrahdale, with a large car park for showcasing our veteran and classic cars, while celebrating the Christmas season in style.

  This is a beautiful woodland setting overlooking the Serpentine Dam. Park your cherished car in the extensive car park and join us for a great Christmas luncheon. 

  A traditional two-course Christmas lunch with trimmings will be served. An on-site bar is available to purchase your favourite drinks.  Dietary requirements catered for, please advise when booking.

  We encourage all VCCC members, together with their guests, to come and share fellowship with the Peel Branch and experience what our region has to offer in serene beauty at this beautiful setting. Arrive a little earlier and go for a walk and have a look at the Serpentine Dam and what it has to offer.

  Depart on Friday 12 December run to Manjimup for the Cherry Festival.  For folk leaving from Perth I suggest we meet at Pioneer Village at 7.30am to depart at 8.00am sharp- then onto Pinjarra train station for a quick comfort stop.  We then continue onto Collie VCCC Clubrooms for morning tea. After morning tea onto Boyup Brook to the Bert Hayes Museum and then onto lunch. 

  Saturday 13 December the organisers have requested us to take our Vehicles up to the Imperial Oval.  It is at the end of Brockman St straight up the hill from Post Office, cross over Moore St into Oval by 9.00am prior to Grand Parade starting through the town at 9.55am.  We will then park our cars in the Main Street which wil be closed to others until 4.00pm.

  Sunday 14 December - travel home.

  For the convenience of Members who are otherwise unable to get to the club rooms during the week, the Parts Shed is open on the Fourth Saturday of each month.

  Bookings are not necessary to just attend the Parts Shed, just come along on the day and have a look for that "special piece" you need to finish off your restoration.

  As far as Accommodation goes here are the places that we have pre booked for the Rally. 

  The Busselton Jetty Tourist Park  Phone 97521516 we have pre booked 6 Chalets, and campsites are also available:

  The Busselton Jetty Chalets:  Phone 0477999362 we have not booked any of these, but they currently have chalets available.

  If you are happy to share a Chalet it will be more cost effective, you will need to sort this out between yourselves.

  There are also some Air B & B’s close by, The Esplanade Hotel is just up the road with Motel Units available and there are also Caravans that can be hired from Camplify, they will come and set up the caravan for you.

  Registration and Entry forms will be released in December

  Overview of Event

  This is to be a 3 day event. The runs each day will all start from the carpark on the right side of Brown Street just after Marine Terrace when heading towards the beach. The runs are to 3 different destinations out from Busselton and lunch will be available for individual purchase at the lunch stops. If preferred, participants are welcome to take a packed lunch instead.

  Morning teas will be self-catered along the routes. As always, folding chairs might be handy.

  Start Times

  Tuesday              Assemble at start point by 9.30 for a 10 am start.

  Wednesday        Assemble at 8.30 for a 9 am start.

  Thursday            Assemble at 9 am for a 9.30 start.

  Evening Meals

  Monday               Nothing arranged

  Tuesday               Share bbq at the eastern Jetty caravan park (furthest from town)

  Wednesday         Booking at Esplanade Hotel, order and pay individually

  The Indian Harley Club (Bunbury) Inc and the Veteran and Classic Car Club of WA are jointly hosting the second WA ‘Vintage Only’ Vehicle Muster over the weekend of 17-19 April 2026 based in Donnybrook, WA.  This event is for road-going Motorcycles, Cars and Other vehicles of the VINTAGE period (1919 to 1930 inclusive).  Get in early and book your accommodation (see below).  ENTER via the REGISTER button on either clubs Events Calendar

  

  The aim of the event is to bring together road-going vintage car and motorcycle (1919 to pre 1930) enthusiasts for a weekend of social and riding/driving pleasure.

  The RSLWA Perth intends to undertake the traditional Anzac Day parade 2026, along the streets of Perth.

  We are seeking Military Section volunteers to support this important event by making suitable  vehicles available to carry elderly or infirm Veterans along the route  of the march and traffic Marshals to assist, on route. 

  Please Form Up on Hay Street, between Irwin and Pier Street, from 0730 hours.

  For a 0900 hrs. START of Parade March along St. Georges Tce., Perth 

  and this year Finishing up at LANGLEY  PARK.

  ( Not the Concert Hall, as in previous years )

  If you are able to make one or more vehicles available on the day I would ask that you register your interest here. If you are unable to personally participate but are happy for another Club Member to drive your vehicle, please register and make the note in the comments box provided. 

  We may need up to 10 vehicles, depending upon seating capacity.

  It is necessary for all vehicles taking part to be inspected prior to the day at the VCC in Wattle Grove by Jim Sewell.
