What appears to be the remains of a 1925 Buick has been retrieved from the Toodyay tip by a member of the public. He describes the find as follows:

    • Engine short motor with, crank case, cylinders, pistons, con rods. flywheel, clutch (old, condition not known.)
    • Engine number 1941422
    • 3 speed gearbox, no top or shifter
    • Tailshaft and torque tube
    • Differential, no rear cover, has brake actuating rods attached, bent axle tube (can be straightened)
    • Clutch and brake pedals with mounting shafts and actuating linkages
    • Front I beam cross member, with stub axles
    • Mechanical brakes for each corner ( fair condition) no drums
    • Chassis number1869786 (bent, could be straightened
    • Rear leaf springs

It cost him some $$ to get it removed from the tip and he has spent a bit of time cleaning things up a bit so is looking for fair offers. If you would like further details please contact Craig Marsland  on  0417 916 456.
