Hi All. I have a financial member that has had their rego jump from $73 to $491. Is this simply a DOT mistake or is something else at play here? Perhaps they were too late paying their club membership? Can anyone tell me the cut-off date for payment of club rego. If that is the case, will I need to provide them with a CMC1 to re-apply for 404?

    Regards, Tim Bailye Sec, Esperance.

All sorted. DOT have accepted  responsibility and have reissued the renewal to the owner. I would still appreciate knowing the cut-off date for club renewal however.

Club Membership commences on August 1st each year and ends on July 31st, members are sent renewal notices each year to remind them that their membership is due.

Excerpt from the club constitution, Any member being in arrears in payment of their subscription by the 31st of July shall be declared un-financial and have their membership suspended. A member so affected may remedy their default and have their Membership reinstated. A Member who remains in arrears after the 31st October shall have their membership terminated. A member so affected may reapply to join the Club.

Note that all clubs are required by the DoT to report all un-financlial members of concessionally licenced vehicles to them each year.

Hi John. I think you meant to say, commences on July 1st and ends on August 31st? Thanks for including the excerpt from the constitution. It leaves no doubt about the responsibility of the owner. Cheers Tim.

    Hello all

I have just purchased a 1928 Rugby already on concessional 404 registration. Unfortunately, my first 1.5 hour foray into DOT Cannington exposed my lack of planning/hopeful assumptions and I was banished with a "Deceased Estate Transfer form" and directions that I still need all of the 404 forms.

I am currently getting the Transfer form filled however, I am unsure what other forms I will need. Could someone please enlighten me?

Thanks and Compliments of the season.

    Hi Scott

you should read all about the rules on the clubs website here first
    https://veterancarclubofwesternaustralia.wildapricot.org/Concession-Code-404

    Then you will need to contact the Clubs Vehicle Registrar  David Reid 0431 929 684  try { try { var user = "s.reid14"; var from = "bigpond.com"; var part2 = Math.pow(2,6); var part3 = String.fromCharCode(part2); var part5 = user + String.fromCharCode(part2) + from; document.write("" + user + part3 + from + "<\/a>"); } catch(e) {} } catch(e) {} s.reid14@bigpond.com
